Gift It Forward Project Benefits Breast Cancer Patients

Beverly Hlavka is a fabric artist, whose mother and friend lost their lives to breast cancer. She writes: "I wanted to help women in a one on one, very personal way." Her website, Gift It Forward, is a unique collection of fabric postcards, flitzens (lacy fabric bowls), hand-beaded sachets, fairies, and magnets. What makes her effort unique is that 100% of her net profits will go to women who are in treatment for breast cancer. These patients can use the funds for extra expenses, such as a phone card, a tank of gas, or a stress-relieving massage.
