When I got my breast cancer tattoo
I got my breast cancer tattoo 2 months ago
Description of my tattoo: art, colors, location
It is a breast cancer ribbon pink with a little gray mixed in says mom on top of the ribbon and the day she was born on one side and the day she died on the other side.
The inspiration for my breast cancer tattoo
My mom fought breast cancer for over 3 years, and it finally went too far and spread to her bone and went into a coma and died the next day, on August 19, 2010, breast cancer took her life at 53.
Were you satisfied with your tattoo? Why or why not?
Yes i was very satisfied with my breast cancer tattoo, cause my mom had it so i know what it's like to lose someone you hold close and love with everything you have.
Deciding On My Breast Cancer Tattoo
My tattoo means everything to me for the fact my mom died from it. I really never liked the color pink but now i can't stop wearing it because of breast cancer, that took my mom's life and left me with out a mother at the age of 27 and 10 grandchildren, I feel proud having this breast cancer tattoo on my arm to show everybody cancer is not something to play around with it will kill you, and I don't want anybody to go through this, I'm still in shock my mom is gone.
My Tattoo Experience
It took about 3 hours to do my tattoo, the guy had to keep going over it a couple times cause pink is very hard to show, it hurt a little bit but not much, nobody went with me , I went by myself to get my tattoo, a shop on Beachside in Daytona Beach, Flordia had done the tattoo - they charged 60 dollars for the tattoo, as far as after care I used a and d cream i put it on the tattoo 4 times a day, then after a week to 10 days i can put regular lotion on it and now it looks really good i think they did a very good job on it.
Advice
- I think it would be a very good idea to show off how proud someone is that made it through breast cancer, or even if someone passed away to show them that they were a fighter and never gave up til the end of the battle that took them and know they will be proud of them.
