Survivor Couple Stands close together

Relay for Life at Bobcat Stadium, Texas State University, in San Marcos Texas

Before the victory lap which opened the Relay for Life, a survivor and her husband stand close. Survivors gathered after the National Anthem was sung, to walk once around the stadium track together. Thirty survivors registered for this Relay for Life at Texas State University, and among those were the members of a breast cancer support group. Each survivor was given a purple SURVIVOR T-shirt and a Survivors Pin from the American Cancer Society.
