Pink Ribbon BulldozerA True Survivor Story

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, readers have been sending in their survivor stories. They have much to teach us about how to handle a diagnosis, make it through treatment, and keep going! Pat felt a lump and even though her first doctor said "no problem" - when she consulted another doctor and had a breast MRI - she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Pat's persistence paid off, even though she felt great shock upon getting the news. Listen as Pat tells her own story of surviving breast cancer.
