Six Miles of Scottish Bras Attract Prince Charles

Breast cancer fund raisers in Scotland got a bit of uplift from a royal couple. The Bra Bunters had created a six-mile stretch of bras along the road from Brora and Golspie, to raise funds for the breast cancer unit at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, Scotland. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were driving home from a holiday weekend on the road of bras, when Charles stopped their car to ask about the display. When informed of the fund-raising effort, Charles, who seldom carries cash, donated 20 pounds. Camilla gave 10 pounds for a total of 30 pounds sterling, about $60.
