Kylie Minogue Doubles Her Earnings During Year of Breast Cancer

Hitmaker, singer, dancer, and breast cancer survivor Kylie Minogue just about doubled her music industry earnings during 2005, the year she took off to have treatment for breast cancer. Minogue earned $9 million (£4.5 million) from other business ventures, in addition to her salary from record sales around the globe. Her breast cancer was treated by surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, all of which can help prevent recurrence and spread of this disease.
