Belinda Stronach Fights Breast Cancer

Canadian MP Belinda Stronach has been diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), an early-stage breast cancer. Stronach has undergone a mastectomy and immediate reconstruction, and is recovering from the surgery. She has served in the Canadian House of Commons, briefly as Minister of Human Resources, and has been involved with women's issues and an African anti-malaria campaign.
