Beauty Pampering for Breast Cancer Survivors

Wednesday March 7, 2007
"I feel like a whole new person." said customer Emily Nulph. 100 women, all cancer survivors, attended and were freely given a a haircut and style, a makeover and a soothing massage, as well as any other salon services they wanted. This the sixth year that the Sagittarius Salon has offered this day a pampering for survivors. The one-day event is called "Life is a Gift" and was started by salon owner Marsha Knicley-Masood, in memory of her mom, who was a victim of breast cancer.
