Bruce and Elaine Boland Named Honorary Survivors

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The San Diego chapter of the Komen Foundation has named a husband and wife couple as their 2006 Honorary Breast Cancer Survivors. Bruce and Elaine Boland are both breast cancer survivors, and will be honored on November 5, 2006 at the 10th Annual Komen San Diego Race for the Cure. Bruce had a mastectomy and Elaine had a lumpectomy and radiation.
