Get Benign Lumps Checked Out

Many lumps, or irregularities, in the breast are not dangerous; such as a fibroadenoma, or a cyst. If the lump is benign (not cancer), wouldn't you like to know for sure? Make an appointment with your doctor, to get any such areas professionally examined. Your doctor may send you for a diagnostic mammogram, and a test such as an aspiration, or a biopsy. Here is a good overview of these procedures, with comments on the accuracy of the results.
